Finnegan's Christmas Pictures

Being as I love photography and Finnegan, doing Christmas pictures only seemed right. I have to say taking newborn pictures... just not my thing. I have little interest, and I find myself having a hard time getting into a rhythm.

When it comes to Finn, those feelings go right out the door. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do!!

Smith Family!

Sara and Ryan - During Kate's (my new sister!!!) bridal shower, Sara asked if I would take some family pictures for her. Fast forward a few months to Nolan's 1st Birthday - we went over to Knight Park in Collingswood.

I am not sure if you have ever been there, but it's awesome. Let me know if you're interested in family photos there!

We decided to take the pictures around sunset for the best lighting. Even being later in the day, it was still super hot outside. Nolan and Kenna were awesome dealing with that heat. Overall I'm so happy with the way the pictures turned out. I have to thank Sara for having people there to help get the kids’ attention!

Lynch Family

John - My old friend from Allentown asked me to take pictures of his kids! The last time I saw his kids, his oldest son was a year old. When I walked into the room, he explained to me that he remembers the first time we met, haha.

Check out the pictures and let me know what you think!

Donisi Family - Printing Photots

I just wanted to show off two canvases that Eddie printed out for his Mom (see below). You can see the full set of pictures here.  I asked him to send me pictures of the canvases so I could post them on my blog. I don't normally get to see what people do with the pictures once I hand them over. I think they turned out great.

After seeing this, I've decided I am going to start printing photos. The progression came after a bunch of people started asking for prints. Let me know if you're interested! Anyone who books now will get a two free prints of their choice.

Printing Pictures

Maria and Randy sent me an email showing me the pictures they printed.  I am super Happy with the results and glad they are too.

Let me know if you want a mini photo session!

Baby RJ

Good friends of ours, Maria and Randy, recently welcomed baby RJ into the world. We couldn't be happier for them! We visited them after they came home from the hospital and I was able to get these shots. Hope you like them and let me know what you think!

Allyson's Baptism

Karin and Chris asked me take pictures at Allyson's baptism. Everything went so well. I have to say that Allyson was extremely happy. I guess she knew it was her special day!

Let me know if you want any pictures taken for your special event!

Julie and Hunter's Wedding

Nate's sister Julie got married in mid June, and Katie and I were a guest to their wedding. I was not the main photographer for the wedding, but was asked to be a 3rd shooter. Julie's Mom asked me to take shots that the main photographer would not get. Below are some of the photos from the day.

The wedding was beautiful, and she did a great job with all the decor!

Take a look at the photos, and let me know if you want me to shoot your wedding or family!

Saul Street House - Real Estate Photography

Angela Perry, who is an old friend (and excellent Realtor!) asked me to photograph one of her listings. I was so excited to be given this opportunity!

I didn't get the address until the day of the shoot, and was shocked to find out the house was one block away from my old stomping ground; I grew up 1 street down!

The owner Nate, has done a wonderful job renovating their home. The kitchen has wainscoating which looked great, and the hardwood floors were in great shape. I wish them all the best for a quick sale!

After I finished up the shoot, I went over to my old corner store and treated myself to a HuggieI can’t remember the last time I had one of those!

Below are the pictures from the day; I hope you enjoy them!

I introduce to you, Frankie!

I would like to introduce Lauren and TJ's 2nd kid, Mr. Frankie! Frankie was an awesome baby to meet. Very handsome man if I say so myself.

One of the biggest honors was Katie was asked to be his God Mother! This was an amazing request, and very exciting!

Well enough chatter, here is Frankie:

Update Web Site

Finally, my web site is complete! I feel like it has taken forever, but I think it looks good.

Thanks to the help from TJ Nicoladies, and Katie.

I think over the next couple of months I am going to make slight changes. Just little stuff to truly refine the final look.

My other goal is to increase the traffic to my page. I believe I have to start becoming a bigger twitter user.

Anyway, below is the home page when you first come to the web site.

Let me know what you think of the page... Any changes you would make. I am open to all suggestions!

Joining Square Space

I just signed up for a square space account.

I will give it a try for a month or two, and see how things go.  i.e. if i will quit squarespace or sign up for a year membership.

Initial thoughts:

Something that I find annoying is the fact that I can not register a free domain name until I sign up for a year. I don't know if I want to commit to that long.

This is just a test post, to see how I will start loading images into the blog.

West Loop Chicago, from my hotel room.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like I have complete control on batch uploading images and them placing them into the order I want.  I think the option exists, I just have to learn how to use the site.

Streets of Chicago.

I think once I understand the format a little better, I will grow to link Squarespace.

As for now, I guess i'll have to live with the growing pains.

Caroline - My First photo Shoot a little kid!

Caroline Adamson! I asked Pam before she they left for England, if I could take an hour to shoot Caroline. I wanted to try to expand my field by shooting kids. I feel like the photo shoot was quite the learning curve. You can't really suggest poses for Caroline, and basically just have to follow her around trying to get the best images.

I think she is a very cute little girl. When I first got Kaitlin's house, I had Harry with me. As soon as we walk into the house, Caroline turns to us and yells "OH MY GOD!!! IS THAT A PUPPY DOG!!!" She runs right to Harry to start petting him. Awesome little kid! Hopefully I will get to see her, and Jordie, and PAM soon!

I wanted to start trying different areas of shooting, and I asked Pam if I could shoot Caroline. This was the same day they were leaving for England... For 4 years! I hope to see them soon!
